David is one of the most experienced arbiters in the world. He is one of 19 arbiters authorized by the World Chess Federation (FIDE) to train aspiring FIDE arbiters. David is a team member and key component of many top chess events such as Hastings and Gibtelecom, 2 marquee international chess events.

Mr. Manuel Guillermo Nieto, Columbia
Deputy Arbiter
FIDE Arbiter and Colombian National Tournament Director

Manuel is an experienced arbiter and organizer of several tournaments for scholastic, adult, and college players. In 2006, he was the Tournament Director of the first Colombian National Scholastic Championship at Saint George's School. At the marquee 2003 and 2004 Pan-American Youth Chess Festivals hosted in Bogota, Colombia he served as an arbiter and lecturer.

Mike is one of the forces behind the future of chess players here in the State of Illinois through his tireless efforts with the Illinois Chess Coaches Association. Mike has been on staff of numerous national chess events including the largest scholastic event in the country, the Super Nationals.

Mrs. Sandra Angarita de Nieto, Columbia

Sandra has been on staff as a designer, editor, and photographer of chess information guides, tournament bulletins, brochures, and diplomas of several chess camps, workshops, clinics, and tournaments for scholastic, collegiate, and adult players. She was also entrusted with the design and publication of 2004 Pan-American Youth Chess Festival website, which took place in Bogota, Colombia.
